Framed Leaf Window Art (Single Stem Idea)

This craft turned out even more beautiful than I expected (the pic doesn't do it justice)…and it was easy with minimal supplies! Woohoo!
Enjoy this
Framed Leaf Window Art for
Sprouts and Seedlings (toddler/preschool and elementary age)...

FRAMED LEAF WINDOW ART
The Stuff
The Prep
The FUN!
  • Glue (in a bowl)
  • Food coloring
  • Paint brush
  • Wax paper
  • Leaves
  • Colored paper (if want to make the frame - you could also just trim the edges and hang without the frame)
Go on a leaf hunt to collect leaves – the more colorful the better!

Cut a piece of wax paper and fold in half

1. Mix food color in a bowl of glue with a paint brush.

2. Paint glue on one side of wax paper (if you do both sides the leaves don’t show through very well).

3. Place leaves on glue.

4.  Fold wax paper over.

5. Let dry.

6. Make paper frame by lightly folding in half and cutting out a rectangle out of the middle. *I did this part but if your kids are older they can do it.

7.Glue Leaf Window Art to frame and hang in a window!
